

Judith S. Leland is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and Northwestern University School of Law. She was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1967, the Ohio Bar in 1972, and the California Bar in 1975. Ms. Leland was appointed as a Supplemental Security Income judge with the Social Security Administration in 1974. In that capacity, she presided over numerous Social Security Disability and SSI hearings in California.She has been an active member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives (NOSSCR), having served as district representative and having been a speaker at NOSSCR conventions. She was a presenting panel member at the CEB course, "Handling the Social Security Case." She has served as chairperson of the Social Security Sections of the Orange County Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and as a member of the Attorney-Client Relations Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Ms. Leland has handled over 2,000 Social Security Disability cases at all adjudicatory levels, including the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Susan R. Wasserman has been a member of the California State Bar since 1976 and New York since 1981. She opened her own law practice in Los Angeles, California in 1981. Born in Brooklyn, NY, and educated at UCLA and Southwestern University School of Law, Susan Wasserman's legal background includes employment as a Deputy Public Defender I, II, & III in Contra Costa County. She was also an Attorney Advisor for the Social Security Administration, Office of Hearings & Appeals in Long Beach, California. After suffering her own debilitating disability in 1992, she has committed her office resources to representing the most under represented segment of society -- the Disabled.
Joan C. Hall
Joan Hall graduated from UCLA in 1970, with a B.A. in Political Science. She graduated from Loyola University School of Law, Los Angeles, California in 1977, and was admitted to the Bar in December, 1977. She has represented Social Security Disability clients for over twenty years. She has had success at all levels of representation, including initial applications, Administrative Law Judge hearings, Appeals Council appeals and appeals to Federal District Court.
Ms. Hall is a staunch advocate of the rights of disabled Social Security claimants and this is evidenced by the large percentage of cases that she has won at all levels. She has a keen understanding of the issues involved in the many different disability cases and is a tenacious litigator.
Sarah Rosenblatt
Sarah Rosenblatt received her undergraduate degree from UCLA before attending Loyola Law
School in Los Angeles. As a law student, she worked as a law clerk in the Disability Rights
Legal Center (sponsored and operated through the auspices of Loyola Law School) and also as a
clerk at Community Legal Services legal aid organization. Her commitment to community service has continued well after her graduation from Law School, and is evidenced by the considerable amount of volunteer pro bono work she has done on behalf of the Harriett Buhai Center For Family Law. In her present position as an advocate on behalf of the disabled, Sarah is not only a hard working attorney, but a caring one as well.
